Welcome To MacMAD

MacMAD is a user group based in Melbourne, Florida devoted to helping each other explore all of the possibilities of the Apple Macintosh. After each meeting, all are welcome at a local restaurant where we indulge in a festive open discussion over pitchers of cokes, beers, and food stuffs galore. Thus our name, MacMAD, which stands for Macintosh Meeting and Drinking Society.

Regular Program Meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month, 7:00 to 8:30
All MacMAD meetings are free and open to the public. We usually go out to eat after the meetings. Guests are welcome at these dinners.

Wednesday Meeting Time Change

The Eau Gallie Library now closes at 8:00 on Wednesday. To keep our meeting time as similar as possible, we will now start at 6:30 for the help meetings at that location.

Next General Meeting

Help meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month, 6:30 to 8:00 at the Eau Gallie Library on Pineapple Avenue.

MacMAD mourns the passing of our friend and club secretary, Mary Icaponi.

Mary passed away unexpectedly at her home around the 21st of April, 2010. Mary was the designer of this web site and many others in her work as a web designer. We will all miss her drive and enthusiasm. She was a special person. Mary wasn't much inclined to having her picture taken, but this photo catches her while she was busy taking photos for this web page.
